Data collected

As on most websites, this site automatically logs certain information about every request: (a) the name or network address of the computer making the request (which may be a web proxy rather than the originating client), (b) the date and time of connection, (c) the HTTP request, identifying the document requested, and (d) the status code of the request. This is used for system administration, bug tracking and usage statistics. Logged information without enough detail to identify a person may be kept indefinitely and disclosed to third parties for analysis.

Data requested

When we need information that personally identifies you or lets us contact you, this will be clear from the site itself — for example when requesting newsletters, signing up for a service or applying for a vacancy. Personal information collected by MaltaComics & Collectibles is limited to the form fields requesting it. Any additional information you choose to send will be used and retained only for the purpose of the page it was sent from, and kept only as long as strictly required.

Data disclosed

MaltaComics & Collectibles will not share your personal information with third parties without your permission, other than limited exceptions clearly listed where you submit it. We use your data exclusively for technical administration of the site and to fulfil your requests. We do not share, sell or transfer your personal data unless required for the contract or you have given express consent.

Security

MaltaComics & Collectibles takes all necessary technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data from loss or misuse. Your data is saved in a secure environment not accessible to the public and backed up regularly on and off site.

Automatic decision-making and profiling

Your data will not be used for automatic decision-making or profiling.

Your rights

Access: you have a right of access to your personal data held by MaltaComics & Collectibles. Requests must be made in writing with enough information to find the data and two proofs of identity (e.g. passport, ID card or driving licence), sent to our registered address or to admin@maltacomics.com.

Rectification: you may ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data. We may verify the data before correcting it.

Withdrawal of consent: where we process data based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

Erasure (right to be forgotten): you may ask us to delete your personal data and we will comply without undue delay where one of the grounds under Article 17 of the GDPR applies.

Complaints: if you are unhappy with how we process your data, tell us and we will try our best to put it right. You may also complain to the Office of the Information and Data Protection Commissioner.
