MaltaComics Online Terms & Conditions

The user shall be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of his or her password, which he or she will not be under any obligation to reveal to any representative or employee of MaltaComics. The user should therefore note that he/she responsible for any and all transactions made under their account name and password.

MaltaComics have the right to terminate an account and/or cancel any orders at our discretion and at no charge to the customer. In the event that an order is cancelled, the client will be given a full refund for the value of that purchase.

The MaltaComics website contains material which is owned or licensed to MaltaComics and its distributors. The material being referred to here under includes, but is not limited to the design, layout, look, appearance including graphics, pics, images and videos. Any reproduction of any of the above in whole or in part is prohibited other than in accordance with the copyright notice which forms part of these terms and conditions.

Content of the site – Users of this site should note that Prices and details of items are subject to change without notice and do change without notice. All items posted on malta-comics.com are subject to availability and MaltaComics can give no 100% guarantee in this regard at the time an order is placed. Due to the large number of items on the site some items may no longer be in production at the time of ordering. In the event these incidents occur, as a result a full refund for the customer will be issued by not later than 30 days from the date of purchase. MaltaComics will inform the client in relation to the status of their order as soon as MaltaComics has such information available to it. MaltaComics will try its best to minimize these discrepancies however, due to circumstances beyond our control, some discrepancies may arise.

MaltaComics accepts the offer of purchase when an email confirmation is sent to the customer. In the event multiple items are purchased on a single transaction and an email confirmation is sent covering a portion of the items on the transaction, then in this case only the items which are covered on the confirmation email are therefore  covered by this sale contract.

In the event that it may occur that any transaction may as a result be cancelled, then the  customer will be given the the right to a full refund.

Prices quoted on this website are for online sales only and will differ from retail prices at MaltaComics retail outlets.

Orders are processed on working days and in the order they are received. Any orders received after 5pm Malta local time are processed the following working day.

In accordance with Article 6 of Distance Selling Regulations, all good purchased from MaltaComics have a cooling off period of 15 days. Emphasis must be made that any returned merchandise during this period must be returned in the same condition as was supplied to them. MaltaComics reserves the right to refuse any damaged goods at its own discretion. This cooling off period under no condition applicable  to the sale of periodicals including books, comics, newspapers and/or magazines.

Dispatch & Delivery times under Covid-19. The dispatch and delivery times listed on malta-comics.com are estimates of when an item may be available or when it may be shipped by the distributor and/or manufacturer. Whilst we try our best to meet these time-frames, situations beyond our control may arise from time to time. Due to the worldwide pandemic created by Covid-19 the majority of products not currently in stock including preorders & backorders are subject to delays not within our control. Furthermore, MaltaComics can not be held responsible by the client for delays incurred by import/export authorities and other shipping entities including airlines and airport closures. The client is accepting this situation & under no circumstance in regards to Covid-19 or any other situation can request a cancellation of his/her order unless those items have been cancelled by the manufacturer.

All users of malta-comics.com are to note that in relation to prices, these are displayed inclusive of any applicable Maltese VAT rates; in relation to printed matter this is currently 5%. All other items are at 18%

Your use of the website and any dispute arising out of such use is subject to the Laws of Malta.

In accordance with the Data Protection Act and in order to safeguard the interest of our customers, MaltaComics does not store or have access to view any sensitive customer data, such as Credit Card Number, other credit card information and your personal MaltaComics Password. No member of staff from MaltaComics will ever ask you for your website password.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MaltaComics is providing this site and it’s contents on an ‘as is’ basis and makes no representations or warranties of any kind, whether this is expressed or otherwise implied in any way, and in respect to this malta-comics.com or any of the information, content, materials or products found on malta-comics.com including, without any limitation, including warranties of merchant-ability and fitness for a particular purpose. In addition, MaltaComics does not represent or warrant that the information accessible via this site is accurate, complete or current.

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions shall be held by any competent authority to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, the remaining parts of these Terms & Conditions shall remain valid and unaffected. 

Any contract resulting from the purchase of an item from www.malta-comics.com will be executed & concluded in English language.
