PRODUCTS

ARE ALL THE ITEMS LISTED ON THE SITE “IN STOCK”?

Many of the items are in stock and we try to keep them so as long as they are still being produced and put on the market. We constantly monitor our stock levels to ensure that the website is correct.

 

HOW WILL I KNOW IF AN ITEM IS IN STOCK OR NOT?

Clients can find the stock status of an item just above the cart button on the product page or catalog page. If the item is “In stock” it will say so in GREEN. If the item is not in stock the status will be in RED. The status will give an indication when an item will ship or be in stock again.  Furthermore, if an item is on PREORDER, the BLUE shopping cart button will display this. Whether the item is on preorder or backorder there will be a RED warning stating “ITEM IS ON BACKORDER“. This is done to ensure clients are aware that the item is not in stock. Please place orders with care.

 

WHAT DOES SHIPS END MEAN?

If you see a stock status that is listed as SHIPS END 01/2021 for a BACKORDER this means we will collect orders during the month up to 72hours before the end of the month and our suppliers will close an invoice on that day and ship out those orders to us. Please take into consideration that the consignment has to arrive at our end and it generally takes 3 to 10 working days if there are no further Covid-19 delays.

 

IF I WAIT TIL THE LAST DAY OF THE MONTH WILL MY ORDER STILL SHIP IN TIME?

NO. One must understand orders take their time to process, there may be delays for bank transactions to process and for communication to be received especially if the end of the month falls on a weekend or holiday. We are all human & our suppliers need to take the necessary time to process requests especially now with Covid imposing time consuming social distancing procedures. Your order will be processed at the end of the next month.

 

WHAT DOES ETA MEAN?

ETA stands for ESTIMATED TIME OF ARRIVAL. So if the status of an item is “ETA 1 week when ordered” it means we expect an item to arrive more or less within a 7 day timeframe. It may arrive before it may arrive a bit later. It will not arrive a month later.  It will not arrive exactly after 7 days – it is after all an estimate. If we perceive due to Covid-19 items are taking 2 weeks constantly then we will change the status to reflect that  While not the norm, lockdowns may occur which would effect ALL businesses and services, in this event we will post warnings on top of our website pages as well as our shopping cart & checkout page so please take the time to read them.

 

WHAT IS A PREORDER?

Preorders are items that have never been put on the market and are set to be released in the future. The tentative release date is listed above the Add Cart button. This button will also be labeled as “Preorder”

 

CAN A PREORDER DATE CHANGE?

Yes, and it is subject to the manufacturer/distributor. We have no control over the release dates. We offer a discounted preorder price because you are taking the risk in booking the item before it is released.

 

I ORDERED A PREORDER AND IT CANCELLED. WHAT HAPPENS?

We will notify you of the cancellation and arrange to provide you with a refund.

 

WHAT IS A BACKORDER?

Similar to a Preorder, a Backorder is an item which has been released on the market, stock has sold out but is still being produced and  restocked in the near future. Like a Preorder, it will have a tentative restock date.

In the event you have placed an order for an item which is on reorder status and does not fill (the manufacturer ceases to produce the item), you will get your money back.

PAYING FOR PRODUCTS

HOW DO I PAY FOR MY ITEMS?

Click on the shopping cart and it will guide you throughout the process. We offer several payment options including bank transfer, mobile app transfer and credit card payments.

 

CAN I PAY AT THE STORE FOR IN STOCK ITEMS AND GET THE SAME WEBSITE OFFERS?

No. Website offers are website offers and may not be available in the store.

The website is one of our sales tools. It helps us stock the right amount of each item and provides the client with a wide range of items which we can fit virtually online but not physically in the shop. We pass on the overheads we save as discounts for the client. So if you want to save money order off the site, wait for an email from us updating you on the status of your order (usually sent within 24 hours except for weekends). If its already in stock you can come and collect it; if not you can receive it generally between 3 and 10 working days unless there are delays due to Covid-19 restrictions.

 

CAN I LEAVE A DEPOSIT ON THE WEBSITE? 

No. But you can leave a deposit on preorders at the store. You will have to pay the full price of the item in this case and not the discounted price

SHIPPING & DELIVERIES

DO YOU SHIP OUTSIDE OF MALTA? 

We do but this service is currently suspended due to pandemic issues. We hope to have the service running again soon.

HOW WILL MY ITEM BE DELIVERED? 

We employ a number of ways of delivering items which are dependent on the nature and size of the item(s), and the location where the order has to be delivered. These include direct deliveries by the store itself and the use of 3rd party couriers/postal services.

Some methods require that someone has to be at the delivery address indicated as we require a signature. We will contact you prior to delivery to set the right time and day.

 

I ORDERED MORE THAN ONE ITEM & NOT  ALL ARE IN STOCK AT THE MOMENT. WHAT HAPPENS? 

We will contact you to deliver the items that are currently in stock. Once the other items come back in stock we will once again contact you to deliver them as well. You do not pay anything extra for multiple deliveries.

 

I DID NOT PAY FOR LOCAL DELIVERY BUT NOW I NEED IT. WHAT HAPPENS? 

We offer free pickups at store, standard delivery & occasionally free local delivery. Items are delivered on specific days and according to current Covid-19 measures. If you require express delivery we do offer that but you would need to pay for that. You can also contact us to set up a delivery at a cost. This includes any credit card charges we may incur.
