Yahoo is reporting the following:

The season 10 finale of The Walking Dead will be delayed until later in the year, US network AMC has confirmed.

Instead, the show will wind up with its 15th episode, which will air on 5 April in the US (the day after in the UK).

“Current events have unfortunately made it impossible to complete post-production on The Walking Dead Season 10 finale,” AMC said in a statement.

“So the current season will end with its 15th episode on April 5th. The planned finale will appear as a special episode later in the year.”

The spread of the virus has also meant that the new Walking Dead spin-off series, The Walking Dead: World Beyond, has also been delayed.

It was set to premiere on 12 April, but will now also air later this year.

Set 10 years after the zombie apocalypse, it’s set in Nebraska and will follow two female protagonists over a limited two-season run.

It will follow ‘the first generation to come-of-age in the apocalypse as we know it. Some will become heroes. Some will become villains. In the end, all of them will be changed forever. Grown-up and cemented in their identities, both good and bad’.

Two more episodes of the main show are left to air, Look At The Flowers on 29 March, and The Tower on 5 April.
