The CW’s “Arrow” returned Tuesday with its Season 8 premiere. Let’s just say it hit one of the outer rings in terms of Nielsen ratings.
NBC finished first last night in terms of primetime ratings in the important adults 18-49 demographic. CBS was No. 1 in total viewers.
Much further down the Nielsen sheets, The CW finished in last place outright, behind Univision and Telemundo. That’s not a foreign ranking for the youngest-skewing broadcast network, but it’s not where The CW wants to be on an evening it airs an original episode of “The Flash” — especially this early in the season.
