J. Jonah Jameson Back On Daily Bugle Website

The billion-dollar blockbuster, Spider-Man: Far From Home, comes home on Digital September 17 and on 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack, Blu-ray Combo Pack, and DVD on October 1 from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.

In celebration of Spider-Man: Far From Home’s digital and Blu-Ray release on October 1st, Sony gave us a little more of the beloved returning character, J. Jonah Jameson, the Editor-in-Chief of the Daily Bugle, from its postcredits scene. An in-universe Daily Bugle website offers a little more of Spidey’s nemesis, who slams the webslinger as “a psychopath” — beware of spoilers ahead.

“The war on fake news has a hero: J JONAH JAMESON and THE DAILY BUGLE.NET! Where the tides of real news crash the shore of dangerous truth, the Daily Bugle will be there!” it reads. “Read the stories that the super-powers-that-be don’t want you to know! Stay informed! Be a real hero! Listen … to the BUGLE!”

In addition to the YouTube video of Jameson calling Spidey a “menace” and hailing Mysterio, another hilarious aspect of the site is that it became something of a “Blip Blog,” where folks who were snapped away by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War can now share their stories. The missing five years is now officially known as “the Blip,” and it seems there were many people in the MCU who faked being blipped as part of insurance scams. And even as ways of getting out of unhappy marriages! And now the Bugle has become the place to share their sordid tales.

There is also speculation about Hydro-Man and an article about Spidey’s Night Monkey persona.

Things get a little strange too, there’s an article about the low turnout for the planned raid on Area 51, tying it to the events of 2012’s Avengers. It doesn’t refer directly to the world-shaking events of Far From Home’s postcredit scene, probably in an effort to preserve that twist for people who haven’t seen the movie.

Check out the video of Simmons in character as J. Jonah Jameson below, and visit TheDailyBugle.net here.

Below is a 10 minute clip from the Blu Ray.
