Creator of ‘One Piece’, Eiichiro Oda, Aims to Finish Main Story Within 5 years

With its cool art style and memorable characters, One Piece is one of the longest running manga ever. It began life back in July 1997 and to date the story already has 93 published volumes with more on the way. It is probably one of the best selling manga of all time with over 450 million sales worldwide.

The manga has been adapted into  a very successful anime, now in its 20th year, it recently reached a milestone on 1st September 2019 when the 900th episode aired. The franchise also has a sting of films (one released this Summer) and a successful line of videogames to boot.

Its creator Eiichiro Oda recently appeared on a video aired on “Fischer’s“ on YouTube. During the interview, Eiichiro appeared off screen. Asked by the interviewers if he had set a time frame when he wanted to end the manga, he replied thar he would like to finish the main story within 5 years.

Eiichiro appeared in a recent video on the YouTube channel for “Fischer’s“. The elusive Eiichiro was interviewed by the Fishcer’s team, but appeared off screen during the segment.

When asked by the group if Eiichiro had a time frame for when he wanted to complete “ONE PIECE”, he stated that he would like to have the main story finished in five years.
