Chris Evans hung up his superhero boots and even passed on his shield in ‘Avengers: Endgame’ but the latest reports doing the rounds, seem to suggest that he will be back.
It was early this month that reports confirmed that Robert Downey Jr, best known for his role as Iron Man, aka Tony Stark will return to the MCU in the upcoming stand-alone ‘Black Widow’ film starring Scarlett Johansson. As the film is set post the events of ‘Captain America: Civil War’, there will be no need for resurrecting dead characters, just merely featuring them in the time before the events of ‘Avengers: Infinity War’.
With Robert set to return, reports have been hinting at Evans possibly reprising his role in the MCU. Now, we all know that his character Steve Rogers chose to stay in the past and return to the future as a now old and greyed superhero. While some reports hint at him making use of the time machine which at one point turned Paul Rudd’s character Ant-Man into a baby, to possibly bring Cap back to his youthful glory.
