AN INTENSE FIRST TRAILER FOR RAMBO 5: LAST BLOOD

Rambo 5: Last Blood

Metropolitan studios has unveiled the first images of Rambo: Last Blood, the fifth instalment in the adventures of John Rambo!

After being presented in Cannes last weekend (and having leaked on the canvas ), the studios went ahead and released the first trailer for Rambo: Last Blood  officially online to coincide with  Sylvester Stallone presenting a screening of the first film within this 40 year franchise in restored 4k at the Festival!

Ten years after John Rambo, Stallone plays for the last time the most iconic character of his career after Rocky Balboa. This is what the actor unveiled about the film during his master class in Cannes: “He (John Rambo) came back home at the end of the previous movie, eleven years ago. We resume when he finds himself in the middle of a terrible storm, so violent that there is a sudden flood and that everyone must be evacuated. We see a guy arrive on horseback: it’s Rambo. He volunteered to try to save people because he still has this feeling of guilt of the survivor, as he failed to save all his friends in Vietnam. He is still suffering from the post-traumatic stress disorder. He owns a beautiful ranch but he lives underground, where it is dark and where there is no noise, like when he was in Vietnam. He dug kilometres of tunnels, that’s how he tries to manage his problems. It’s really cool as an idea, I love it. He has some kind of adoptive family living on the ranch, and the lady who is guarding the house, probably 70, has a granddaughter. Rambo is a bit of his substitute father. But this young woman finds her real father and wants to join him in Mexico. I ask her not to go but she does it anyway and there are terrible things happening. That’s when he fights his post-traumatic stress: he knows that if he leaves the property, he will lose control of the situation, he is too afraid of being controlled by the outside elements. There are terrible things going on, it’s quite heavy. Many people are injured. We, we love this movie.
