Paramount Studios has unveiled new images of Dora and the Lost City, the live adaptation of Dora the Explorer which will be released this Summer at the cinema!
After fifteen years of animated adventures on the small screen, the (more) little Dora who teaches English to our dear toddlers will arrive this summer in a live reincarnation at the cinema via the film Dora and the Lost City – below is the trailer! Directed by James Bobin (Alice Through the Looking Glass, Muppets Most Wanted ), this adventure film will feature a teenage Dora performed by Isabela Moner, whom we have seen before in Transformers. : The Last Knight.
The rest of the cast will consist of Michael Pena (Ant-Man) who will play Dora’s father, Eva Longoria (Desperate Housewives) her mother, Q’Orianka Kilcher (Hostiles), Temuera Morrison (Arthur Curry’s father in Aquaman), Eugenio Derbez (The Nutcracker and the Four Realms), Adriana Barraza (The Strain ), and Madeleine Madden. Synopsis: After years of exploring the jungle with her parents, Dora is getting ready for the most difficult test of her life: entrance to high school! Her soul as an explorer reappears when she has to fly to the rescue of her parents who are in danger. Accompanied by her faithful monkey Boots, her cousin Diego and new colourful friends, Dora embarks on a crazy adventure that will lead her to unlock the mystery of the Lost City of Gold.
Dora and the Lost City will be released on August 14 at the cinema.
